If you log in to My EE online here, then select Family usage, do you get the option to gift data?
Have you gifted data to the number before?

hi, i've found the link for gifting on the website and when i click the numbers which i'm gifting from and to it says 'We will have it fixed soon

Can you try deleting the app, then going to your app/play store and redownloading the My EE app.
