How do I get a data upgrade on my phone if I'm going to be working abroad

It's impossible to talk to anyone about roaming as you self congratulate yourselves on all the ways you can make money out of us, without giving us the service we need.  I need to have a data upgrade as I'm going to be in a house with no internet and will need to access email etc. I just want to talk to a human who can think not an algorithmic bot.

To continue. The place I'm staying has no internet accessibility. I have heard that Tesco mobile provide sufficient data for £20 a month to enable working without Internet access. If it can't be solved by you, I may well take my business elsewhere.

 

@Disappointed2e     Of you  require more data you can purchase more data or you can you can request to in your tariff allowance you do this by calling customer services.     You need to also make sure roaming is enabled on your EE account you do this by texting ROAMING to 150.  In order to be able to use your allowances while abroad you’ll need to purchase the roam abroad pass.  You can do this via your EE account.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Thanks, I've tried calling them, writing to them etc. I'm giving up, they come out as mediocre on the Which scale, so I'll opt for a company with better service.

When you call 150 what options do you select?
