This has probably been discussed once or twice per thousand times to the power of 100. All I am trying to do is track my mobile data usage and see my bills going forward, which is proving impossible so far. Apart from joining EE and trying to use their app, what am I doing wrong.
PS; The Plusnet app worked fine, same company as EE I believe.😁
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi @J032
Thanks for coming to the community.
If you log into the app, do you have an option on the home screen to link a product? If so, please enter the mobile number and this should link your number to the account.
To view the community groups if you go to Home - The EE Community and select any of the options such as Devices, the drop down will show a list of options. Full details can be found in our Forum FAQ's - The EE Community.

@J032 You can only view your current monthly cycle of data usage but your online account will show the last 3 months of data usage. As for your bills going forward until you are billed there is no bill to look at. Your current bill is in bills & payments or just click view bill on the home page

Hi Chris, can’t even view monthly cycle of data usage, the app takes me around the houses and ends up telling me to download the app, which I already have, to view data usage.
I click on data used and it takes me to Shop, best data only sim plans and so on.
Do I have to link products or something?

I had to change from Plusnet mobile as they were closing down and they talked me into going with EE mobile on PAYG. In all honesty, I have never seen an app so useless. I have about 10 days left and am seriously considering cancelling the contract. These forms are just as bad, where is the list of groups? The only way I can get to see a list of groups is to start a conversation, then click on the drop down menu for what group I want to post in and use it as a guide without posting iyswim. 🤣

Hi Leanne, just logged into the app, clicked link a product and and it’s asking me to login again so let’s go through the same process again. Added phone number and I managed to see my bill, but it is gone again now, can’t find it again. Still no option to view my data usage.
Back to square 1. Is it so difficult for ee to make an app that allows customers to see their own account. I have put all my details into the app and all it is trying to do is sell me stuff I don’t want.

Hi @J032.
Thanks for trying.
I would recommend giving us a call so our customer care team can link your account.
This will then give you access to your bills, data and plan information.

Hi Katie, phoning them takes you to a recording where no one appears to be available, it seems to have sorted itself out now anyway, I can see my account at last which means I can add more data if needed.
