EE Products and Services Too Problematic?

I recently travelled abroad and whilst in transit I realised I may need to use my mobile data should in case I find myself in areas without wifi, so I look up the EE mobile app to see if I could simply toggle a button in the settings that says ‘roam your package abroad for free’ or something (I must have heard about being able to that on other networks sometime, somewhere) but I was surprised to see how uneasy doing that was! In fact every other supposedly simple tasks especially on the new EE app proved to be complicated or problematic… I couldn’t even check the calls and used data record with a simple tap! In the end I turned on data roaming on my phone settings speculatively, of which all of my existing 20GB of data was exhausted in just three days! And then I came on the EE community forum and saw loads of queries and complaints of stuff EE users were simply unable to do on their phone! How then was EE able to have so much good product reviews?

You should text ROAM EU to 150 and it'll tell you if you need an add-on - the roaming settings in the app do not work for me either and never have.

@olakunlemoshood   Are you blaming EE because your 20Gb of data was used within 3 days ?   Because it’s you that used it not EE and I don’t know why you think that’s EEs fault

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Oh, he edited it to add that in, yeah.... that's not EE's fault, but his. something on his phone may have been downloading in the background and/or tethering to a laptop that started downloading again once an internet connection was sensed
