Has EE ever acknowledged that the upgrade button within accounts doesn’t work for some people?
talking to various ‘EE guides’ through the help option on the app is pointless, they offer for me to upgrade through them, but I don’t know what I want, and would like to compare options at my own leisure.
ringing 150 and speaking to numerous people just to go round in circles, and I get the same offers as online chat.
before I am asked by the community support team, as seems to be the common question asked of everyone with the problem, I have deleted the app from my phone, reinstalled it. Still didn’t work. I have tried logging in to my account on 2 different computers, and tried 2 different browsers. Nothing works.
It is not my devices, or seemingly anyone else’s devices who have the same problem.
it is EE’s online system that is displaying a dead button with no link to the upgrade store.
can anyone help?

Hi,
thanks for the link. It takes me to this screen, where the button is dead (not clickable) and when hoovering over has no link connected to it.

Same problem for me I have complained after getting nowhere with tech support over several calls/hours, so I will be leaving EE at the end of my contract now.
EE senior management need to pull their thumbs out otherwise they will start losing customers in bulk.

Welcome to the community.
I'm not sure why this is happening for you. It sounds like you've tried a couple of different ways to do this, so it seems it could be related to your account directly.
I recommend getting in touch with our Mobile Care team so they can look into this and help you upgrade.
