Can't remove item from basket

I'd like to become an EE customer but I can't currently because I've added an item to my basket by mistake and can't remove it. There is nowhere on the basket page to do so. I chose one SIM then changed my mind and chose another, only when I continued with the process did I discover the first one was added to a purchase basket and then I found I couldn't remove it. There's no way I'm paying for both, obviously. I've spent an exasperating couple of hours going round in circles on this and if I don't get a resolution by tomorrow I'll have to take my custom elsewhere.

@matmcv - There might be a "pencil icon" with text a "edit basket" - use that.
Select that and select the trash can icon and delete package?
(Am using a desktop browser)

Thank you for replying 354-, actually when I clicked the link in the email notification of your message I saw that the basket icon had no number next to it and indeed the basket was empty. What or who this is down to I don't know but I was able to add the right product and complete the order.
In other news there were some very interesting questions in the credit check section, but that's a matter for another day.
