Can’t gift data on the new app - need to transfer data immediately. Not giving me the option to receive data from other number on my account, only gives me the option to buy more data!! Not getting any message that app os closed for maintenance- and i’ve been able to check everything else

What response do you get if you text BALANCE to 150 on the phone you'd like to gift data from?

Hi,
I'm having exactly the same issue. The 'drop down' to select my wife's phone number is not selectable.
When i text Balance to 150 i have all my data.
My wifes balance resets today, so if she goes over the 250mb standard data, she will most likely be charged

Don't worry, your wife won't be charged if she uses up her allowance, she'll just see a prompt to purchase an add-on.
Do you see the same issue if you log on to My EE online?

Okay, on Chrome (Desktop) the side panel for gifting was visable, and i've been able to gift data that way.
The side panel with options of gifting, however, was not available in Safari (Browser on desktop)
So, to confirm, i have now managed to gift data using Chrome on a desktop
Still cant use the option to gift in the App. Hopefully it will be sorted by next month when i need to gift again, or ideally, the app will revert back to the old version, and its really not very good at all.

All the data is there - it’s an unlimited data plan
