Can’t Link my Number

Register fine. Login fine. Try to link number. Enter sort code, last 4 digits of account. “What happened? Sorry, we were unable to complete your request right now. Please try again later”. Tried on Safari, IE & Chrome

Who no. are you trying to link? You seem to be trying to link a bank a/c not a mobile no.

Hi there. I’m trying to link my mobile number to my EE app. I enter my mobile number and app then asks me to verify sort code and account number for the account used to pay bill. Do this and it errors out. My phone is up and running with the mobile number fine, just want to be able to look at my usage etc.

hi @Leanne_T  oooo, good question. I think I did but would have been a good 8 or 9 years ago (former BT employee, on BT Mobile employee tariff). Defo the same number, had it for much longer.

If you give us a call on 150, the team can check any previous accounts and get this removed so you can set up your My EE account. If nothing is showing, they can help get this sorted for you 🙂

Having the same problem here. I’m my case I have never had an ee account and in this case I am trying to link a Payg number. Bought the sim only PAYG account at an EE store now 4 days ago and spent time on customer support via calling ‘150’ to no result.  I’m visiting the UK from Australia so want to be able to closely monitor my spend and easily manage top ups and this is a major inconvenience. Can anyone help? I have been doing all actions using the ee app on iOS.
