Adding number to My EE before transfer is complete

Hello, I have just started a new Pay Monthly plan with EE and have chosen to keep my old number from Three, I have just submitted the transfer request online.

I made a My EE account but I'm not sure if I should add the sim to the account using the number on the EE sim or wait for it the transfer to complete.

If I just use the number on the sim, will it automatically update in My EE when the transfer finishes?

Or would it just best to wait?

@JakeT12  Your number will automatically change on your account once your number has ported over.     Your number will not port now till Tuesday as number ports take up to 24 hours and are not started late Friday or over the weekend.   You can create an account with the number on the sim 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
