When trying to upgrade my phone I opt for the tariff with a smart benefit but at check out you are charging for the benefit??? How is that free?

Welcome to the community,

Not sure, as the tariff comes with the smart benefit, and you then choose what you want to use the smart benefit for via your account once set up. Have you made sure that you have signed up for the tariff that has the smart benefit included?

Yes I selected the tariff with a smart benefit. When you then add the phone to your basket it asks you to select which one you want but the price is added as well so it is not free as the tariff is suggesting. Regards!

@NA2222 , You can always ring customer service and find out, not sure why it is then added, as that does seem strange.
