WiFi 7 upgrade

New WiFi hub smartly picked up all the devices previously registered to my 6 hub. Saved a lot of time. The problem is that any new registering to the house WiFi only picks up the old hub and password. Good job I kept a photo of the old password details before I sent the old kit back. How do I get future registrations to pick up the 7 hub and new password?

@KCbristol   Unless you do a factory reset of the hub, you are stuck with any new devices needing to use the older passord and SSID.

You cannot mix old and new, it is one or the other.

Perhaps they should mention that as part of the switch. I wonder how many people don't keep a record of their old router passwords

@KCbristol   It would be very helpful, I am sure there will have been a few people that have been/will be caught out.

When you set up your new router with the app you accepted the option to copy the WiFi creds of your existing router to it. So now you are stuck with the old WiFi creds unless your want to factory reset it & have to reconnect & reset all your devices to it again.
