I've looked all over and can see posts from other users on the same subject but can't figure it out.
How the heck do I message another member?

You can @ Private Messages - The EE Community but why do you need to PM them. Can't you post or reply in public? I would only use PMs for something personal. Otherwise it's more far-reaching for everyone to see it & have the opportunity to add their views on the matter.

A bit of curiosity maybe and sometimes you find a need to strike up a friendship with someone who's got the very same problem, especially in posts that only have one or two replies.
My curiosity is even more heightened now as I clicked your link and I get a big red message saying I don't have the correct privileges to follow it!

I should take that up with 1 of the Community staff.. Maybe you haven't posted enough to allow PMs.

Hi @Skewett
Welcome to the community.
@XRaySpeX is spot on in saying that it is better to post publicly about your query to start with, as more people, not just the original poster, will see your question and be able to help.
We tend to keep private messages locked for new users until there has been a few posts made, and only use it for requiring personal details.
