Change Account Type to Upgrade

Hi there!

I am a current EE Employee in one of the franchise retail stores, I was looking to upgrade my line to the iPhone Duo and obviously I understand that the Duo is restricted to colleagues for the foreseeable future with the internal upgrade form. My question is can I change my account type from a colleague account to a consumer subsidy account and change my employee discount to just a f&f 30% instead, and then process the upgrade that way without the restrictions?
