@c1992 ? this is nothing to do with new EE as the service, its all to do with fttc or fttp, with your new property if full fibre is available which is the fttp, then the falls pendant controller has to be digital signal control, not the older analogue box controller, so not sure what you have or what you are getting, also backup protection is required to keep both the router, ont and ideally the landline up for emergency condition. If you look at the model of pendant controller, the box that is plugged in currently to your older fttc landline, or take a picture and post back!

The box that my staff have plugs into a plug socket, not into the back of my router and my pendant is 4G enabled so I do not understand what New Ee gone about

@c1992 In that case you are correct, if your pendant is 4G signal to the box then you should be able to get fixed broadband. When asked the question did you require landline, if so what did you answer, when asked the question if you needed landline, do you have a mobile as a backup should fibre go down, what did you answer, they are all RED flags to an EE CS guide, responses may automatically block getting broadband. Your move, does it involve getting fttp service or do you know the answer?

When I got asked, do I have a pendant I answer yes to the New Ee guide

Then he went on to tell me that I could not have New Ee broadband because of digital voice
