Since changing my BT router to an EE one, I can no longer save the ring tone on my handset, I enjoyed a nice classical music clip which I can still select however it does not keep this when I use it
very frustrating

@ShorehamNICK what model handset do you have?

It’s listed as the essential digital phone

Were you able to register it to the new router and are the other functions working OK?
Been looking at the manual, but can;t see any info re not saving ring tomes.

Yes I retested both of the phones again when I switched over the router
, I was previously able to change the ring tone and save it,
the only thing that has changed is the router

Do you still have the BT router?
If so you could use that and let EE know that you need to use it to get the phones working and ask them to stop the return reminders.

@ShorehamNICK You can no longer use or select ringtones feature with the EE DV Service.

Since being forced to move from BT to EE I have lost the ability to connect storage to my router and now I have to put up with a harsh ring tone on my phone ! I thought the switch would be an upgrade
anyone know if I can keep using by bt router ?

However without your MyBT your control options may be limited.

@ShorehamNICK As @Mustrum suggests if you still have the BT Smarthub2 put it back on, see how it goes and works before the switch over all get's confused. See what works, what does not, and what you need to do, your ringtone feature i do not think that you will get that back though, do let us know how it goes.
