Just been switched and have an old handset.  Would like to buy the dedicated EE digital home phone so I am making full use of the service.

is it just me or is it impossible to purchase one from the Ee store?  I’m on the verge of buying from some weird seller on Amazon!

@Peter_W : As far I can tell none of those phones are specialised DV phones. Those shown (base stations at least) will have a cord to be plugged into a router. I understand the special DV phones are called "BT/EE (Digital) Home Phone".

Hey @0x0.

Welcome to the EE Community 😊

Could you please let us know a bit more about what's happening when you're trying to purchase this direct from us?

You should definitely be able to look at the options available here:

Telephones | Home Phones | Landline Phones | EE

Peter

First, How would you navigate there from the ee.co.uk landing page?

Second, I’m looking for a home phone that connects to the smart hub wirelessly and can take advantage fully of the Digital Home Phone system.

The specifications and product details don’t seem to be very clear about which product will do that.

Thanks for your reply btw.

@0x0 To find this page, it comes under 'Tech' at the top of the page on the EE website, and then 'Landline phones' is within the 'SIM Free Phones' section.

When taking a look here though, it doesn't appear we have any dedicated Digital voice phones available for separate sale right now, though.

Any landline should be compatible with your service via the green phone port on the rear of your Hub, though.

It could also be worth giving our customer care team a call to see if you can purchase one through there, as these are definitely available to new customers.

I had to telephone EE customer service  to get this done. I ordered two handsets, one of which came with the battery saver plastic rip removed.  I assume it is one that had already been returned.
They were delivered very quickly. They both registered with my new router. They have both performed well so far.

As a family that seem to have a worse mobile signal than we used to with 3G, these are a much better option when calling to or from home.
