upgrade not clear

i currently have a sim only offer on my account im trying to get however the information isnt clear/transparent.

ive tried to do the upgrade by logging into myee> start upgrade>sim only> clicked on the deal

i got a deal showing £18 for 24m for unlimited text data and 1 benefit. (+the 20% off discount brings it down to £14.40). now when ive gone and call and asked on chat- asked if they can apply it on another number thats due an upgrade ive been told the £18 is only for the first 6 months then raises to £36. i sent them screenshots and theyve said although it doesnt show itll be in the terms and conditions if not then the 20% perk is clashing. only did this as i wanted it on both numbers not just the one.

because of its not stating clear, its unclear if its for 6 months or not, on checkout and everything leading to checkout shows nothing about it being for 6 months only, however chat and phone agents are adament?

spoke to their manager who said its 6 months too. my question now if i take it and it comes back as 6 months half price (which i do not want) can i revert back to the old contract, even though its up for renewal?

@krishan95 you get a 14 day cooling of period.

 this is what i see, so when i reached out to get it for the number it shows on and another number thats due an upgrade they are adamant it has 6months half price. I cannot see that on my side. Even after emailing them screenshot they advised itll be half price for 6 months. I was going to chance it and take it and see what happens, but if its 6months for half price (which i dont want), whats the likelyhood of them giving me back the old contract?

anyone know if theres someone that can help on here regards to getting this deal for another number i have or know of a way? would be highly appreciated.

@krishan95   You’ll not get that,  while it might show that EE do not have to accept your request to have it as that offer should show its half price for 6 months.   

can you try looking on a different device?  As that offer is for 6 months then it’s full price.
