Hi,

My contract with EE ends on February 28, 2025. I don't want to extend the contract for another term. When is the earliest I should inform you about this?

@Radek90  You can give notice to terminate 30 days before the minimum term date.    After the minimum term date this will cease your connection to the network unless you request to change it to pay as you go at the minimum term date

just to point out your contract doesn’t extend after minimum term date it changes to a 30 day rolling contract until you do something about it. Ir you terminate, changing network or upgrade

if you wish to keep your phone number, you can get this by just texting PAC to 65075 and giving that code to the new network provider.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Do I need to deliver the resignation in person, or can I send it by mail?

When the min. term is up it won't extend for another whole term. It will just continue on a 30-day notice rolling basis.

Good evening @Radek90!
Welcome to the EE Community 😊

The details that @Chris_B and @XRaySpeX have shared here are absolutely right, and if you were just wanting to cancel outright you can do this by giving your 30 days notice of cancellation.

You can do this 30 days in advance of the minimum commitment period too, and that way it will cancel on the day that this period comes to an end.

Your number will be cancelled permanently after this though, so if you want to switch to a different network the process is a bit different.

To swap your number elsewhere you just need to request a code from us called a PAC, which you then give to the new network and the account will close automatically when your number transfers.
