Basically want it in plain english when my last Direct Debit payment is then I know I cancel the direct debit with the bank and then switch to another network provider. Everytime I join live chat on EE its never answered when I my last payment is and when I can stop the Direct Debit making my current contract settled.
My current Direct debit is always 21st of each month. My contract end date is 16th july.
Do I just wait until 21st june for my direct debit payment to come out then cancel my payment with my bank and then they will send me a final bill payment via post or other means or should I hold fire until july payment is taken for final bill(direct debit) amount then cancel once thats gone which would then lead me to look at offers elsewhere?
Just dont want to leave direct debit and be over paying then

@Wilkesy91 Another way to think about it, do you want to keep your number?
If no, give 30 days notice on the 17th June.
If yes, ask for your PAC code on the 17th, then give it to your new provider before 30 days. Don't leave it too late, or over a weekend, best plan to do it Tues/Wed/Thursday in the morning in case of delays.
HTH.
Leave your DD open until after your final bill is taken/refunded or you will just delay your refund. Depending on your timing it should be small.

@Wilkesy91 don’t stop your direct debit the moment your contract is terminated as EE might actually owe you something and will need to pay you back, it’s best to actually stop this at least two months after you’ve left EE to make sure your account is settled. Too many people on here have done exactly what your are waiting to do only to be later billed and not realised they’ve been billed and actually effected their credit score.

Whether you disconnect your EE line by giving 30days notice, or by using a PAC to port your number, you will receive the final bill after your account is closed.
That final bill will include any credits or debits due.

lets say I dont want to move until my contract finishes with EE, how would I offically cancel my ee contract with no future payments and wont be charged by ee anymore

I am right in thinking if I just ride it out and dont inform EE they wont continue to take the same amount each month once my contract has offically finished?
Im thinking Ill still be paying the same amount until I cancel my Direct payment even after contract date

Mobile contracts don't just end, they are rolling contracts that only terminate when you explicitly give notice - either by a PAC or 30days cancellation.
You're thinking of the minimum term date expiring, but your contract won't "end" on that date, it will continue as now.
