Instead of upgrading, I got a new contract with a new phone. Now I realize that I have 2 contracts but I only need one contract. How can I have my new contract but not pay a fee to cancel the previous contract?

@Javadmoazami : What had this to do cancelling BB & returning routers? I've made this into your own thread to avoid confusion.

You can't avoid fees on your 1st contract if it's still within its min. term. You either continue paying for it or cancel it with much the same exit fees.

If you ordered the 2nd contract by phone or online you always have a statutory cooling-off period up to 14 days after delivery to cancel your order FoC. If you ordered in-store you have no such "change-of-mind" right of return.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.
