So today I can't use EE all of a sudden because it says my account is closed, and I don't know if the contract ended. Last month, on 5th july i already told EE I wanted to terminate and give notice about it, and it was settled cause i told them I would leave the uk for the 20th August. The contract payment is supposed to be on the 9th august and the problem is that suddenly today i don't get a signal and tried to call EE while checking the bill view but keeps failing saying i need to call and I tried but it keeps saying called failed and It says my account is closed, but they didn't say it was closed today at all with no warning. I want to know is that what it means and, how do I get data, also i ordered a 25 pound package with unlimited data and I want to know whether it is on or off because i want to call it off later cause im scared of getting charged and, the contract of the remaining monthss i need to pay do i still need to pay because it says account closed and I want to know how I can fix it. This issue made me feel disappointed because I was not warned about anything, and I can't do anything.

You having given the required notice of 30 days on 5th July your contract has been terminated w.e.f. 4th Aug., today. Any bill on 9th Aug. will be your final bill & should give you a small rebate for the period 4th - 9th Aug. already paid in advance.

so it's already been paid for the 9th august and how about the 25 pound is it already paid and cancelled?

also thanks for replying

I'm not clear where a 25 pound package comes in to the contract you cancelled. Are you saying you ordered another contract while planning to leave UK on 20th Aug?

I didn't ordered a new contract but a new package before. Like the package was i get unlimited data for 25 pounds and it will be included on the 9 augst payment if i am not mistaken and, it says that i can cancel it anytime but i need to send a text to ee anytime. I want to make sure that the package is also canceled that's all. sorry for the confusion

Hi @NicholasGV

When your line is cancelled, any packages and extras on that line will also be cancelled.

As @XRaySpeX mentioned, you'll get a final bill generated 7 days after your line is terminated, which will include any adjustments. This will be taken automatically by Direct Debit, so it's best not to cancel this with your bank yet.

You can find out more at What you need to know when you leave EE

Ali

Also one last question can you send me how much is the final bill and the fees requirement to be paid because I can’t access to see how much

No, I can't send you anything. I'm just a user like you & can have no access to your a/c.

But is there another way for me to check it? Since in the EE I can’t check it

@NicholasGV Once the final bill is produced you should be able to view it in Menu > Bills & Payments > Your last bill.

If you have a direct debit setup then any payments or refunds due from the final bill will automatically be taken/sent to the direct debit account so do not cancel your direct debit.

If you don't have a direct debit setup, once the final bill is produced you will need to make a card payment.
