Yet again EE rip off a pensioner

Customer since 2001. This 2nd time rip off is supposed to have been sorted after a long long tele conversation with Chealsea (ee port glasgow) at the weekend.

I'm 76 and have a samsung j4 android. I went on to my ee and upgraded to a samsung s22 with unlimited data and insurance -over £60 pm plus £30.

For the 2nd time EE have ripped me off by

Issuing a new account and new phone no. Therefore charging me twice every month.

I bought an upgrade. I want to keep my old number. I do not want tp pay twice.

EE promised to sort this yesterday. Yet again they have not. Do they think that at 76 I will not notice????

I want to keep the new phone but due to ee rip off will have to send it back.

In despair once faithful customer, Evan xxxxx.    PS I can not get into my mobile account - message keeps saying I have logged out.

Hello @EvanRS ,

Welcome to the community,

It appears that you have set up as a new, are you sure you made sure it was an upgrade?

Did you do this online or go to a store? If you did this online, you can ring customer service or ask for it to be cancelled, would have to send it back go to your old plan and start the upgrade again.

It appears to me that this was a new line and not an upgrade you did unfortunately, always worth reading what you fill in, as you can always cancel.

I would suggest trying to log out and try logging in again, see if it is working now, otherwise ring customer service, they should be able to reset it, which may mean you will have to register again, they should be able to help.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.
