Wrong Payment

I went into an EE shop to pay my bill of £81. they took £113 without asking.

The young man clearly wasn’t listening to me. 

I am told that EE can't refund it for 4-5 days.

It takes seconds to take money, but days to refund.

Where will my money be siting during that time.

Other companies are able to refund their mistakes the same day.

This is not the first time that this has happened to me.

I will not be renewing my contract and will not advise anyone else to, either.

My bank can't help either.

Anyone else experienced this problem?

@BasilS2025  Because refunds have to be checked, cleared and then approved and that’s not down to the store to approve your refund it’s an account billing refund.    

Why go to a store to pay your bill you can do this yourself online via your account or the EE app or via FAST PAYMENT  

 

The price is on the card reader before you put your card/phone to it to pay.   Did you not look at that at all ?  Because I always look at that to make sure it’s correct when paying for something
