Will I have two payments when I upgrade my contract?

My direct debit for my contract comes out on the 1st of every month. My contract ran out in October and I have been rolling until I renewed my contract yesterday (5th December). Will two payments be taken from my account this month? I have already paid my rolling contract amount however I am wondering if my renewed contract amount will also come out or will it start from next month?

What do you mean by renewing? There's no such thing as renewing. These mobile contracts don't just end, just the min. term expires. They are not fixed term contracts. After the min. term they just carry on at the same price on a rolling 30-days' notice basis until you explicitly cancel, upgrade or port your no. away. Do you mean you upgraded it?

Yes, I have upgraded so I am wondering if a second payment will come out... My rolling contract payment from before, and the new upgrade payment.

@Mishalily if you’ve upgraded, then it will still only be one payment as your new contract will replace your old contract.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Both payments will come out but not for the same overlapping time. You'll pay for the existing contract up to the time you upgrade & for the upgrade thereafter but the bills will be adjusted accordingly with credits to account for you having paid the  existing contract in advance beyond the upgrade date.
