Over charged

So I decided to change to sim only contract to save some money when I was due for an upgrade in September this year.

i was originally paying £80 for my phone contact and then I was offered a sim only deal at £14 a month which I took out and signed all my legal documents. I had received emails saying my new contract would start on the 16th of September.

Ive noticed for the last 3 months that EE have been taking out my old contract money out each month?! 

I have contacted that via live chat and they’ve advised that that sim only deal “didnt go through and it was a system error” but yet I have confirmation email saying the order number and plan I would be on.

 

where do I stand as they have been taking way more money out of my bank account than I signed up for?
