I can’t contact EE to find out at the moment but I have 4 mobile contracts on my account, one is a sim only the other 3 include the mobile phones (IPhones) and vary between £45 and £65 per month. The three contracts will be up in September and I would like to know what my monthly bill will reduce to, there is no breakdown on the bill detailing what portion is for the phone and what portions is for the package. I can’t find any emails with details of this when I took the contracts out nearly 24 months ago. Is anyone able to give me an idea?
Kind Regards

Traditional contracts have no concept of device vs airtime, you have one monthly payment covering everything.
You have agreed a rolling contract with a minimum term. At the end of that minimum term, you have several choices.
You may upgrade your phone, stay as you are and nothing will change, move to a SIM-only, or give cancellation notice.

@Sian65 It’s only the newer flex tariff where you pay for the airtime and device separately ie 2 bills. Flex tariffs allow you to pay for the device over 24 months or 36 months but the airtime contract is 24 months. So if your happy with the current devices you’ll need to upgrade to sim only for those devices to reduce the costs.

Thank you for the reply Bristolian, that clears things up. I will probably move provider at the end of the contract as to continue paying what I am at the end of the contract is extortionate (and we don’t want new phones) I will look at what the sim only offers are but if it means tying into another contract I will likely move to Tesco mobile as at least they do t hike their prices each year when in the contract period.
thank you 🙂

Thanks Chris B. I will probably move provider at the end of the contract as to continue paying what I am at the end of the contract is extortionate (and we don’t want new phones) I will look at what the sim only offers are but if I have to go in to a new contract for a sim only I likely will move to Tesco mobile as they do t out their prices up each year while in contract.
thank you 🙂

All users receive a text message towards the end of their minimum term, outlining their options - but the choice has to be that of the account-holder. EE offer SIM-only in 30day, 12month & 24month minimum-terms, with value differing.
Tesco is an MVNO using O2's network. Be sure to test coverage & service in all the areas you'll be using your phones, before moving. It's better to identify coverage issues before moving, than being tied in for a lengthy period. All networks are not the same!
EE have changed their mid-term price rise policy to now be a fixed amount rather than being percentage-based, and Ofcom have now followed in mandating that across the industry. It benefits those on higher-monthly fees.
