Upgrading

My contract ends in Sept 2025 and the app saying I can now upgrade without any fee's

So I go into my local EE store to ask about an upgrade and they wanted £320 upfront and me to trade in my phone to be able to upgrade

I was also informed I was on a upgrade anytime plan...

Why is the app saying i can upgrade now without fees

But in store they want over £300 for me to upgrade ?

Hello @Liamsesh1 ,

Welcome to the community,

If you are upgrading with a new phone, then that is the upfront cost of the phone, as phones are now so expensive, the upgrade anytime is for airtime that you can upgrade for free. Hope this makes sense, as you can now get the phone on flex pay over 36 months and pay regularly or pay off earlier, and the airtime plan will be two years.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.
