Upgraded early but old contract still showing

I recently upgraded my contract 4 months early (Mobile Phone + Sim plan) to an All Rounder Unl (keeping my SIM card) with a trade in (sending back my old mobile). I received my phone yesterday morning however the My EE app / website is still showing my old contract. Is there a waiting period for the new contract to be started or is it because I need to send back my previous handset first?

Just checked this morning, looks like My EE app / website is showing my employee discount.

I was supposed to get my mobile phone yesterday, as per the dispatch email. However, I received it on Sunday. Not sure if the dispatch date corresponds to the contract start date, but it's all sorted now.

Hi Leanne I’m having the same issue I have received the phone and new sim with same number. the ee app and online both say I have the new iPhone which is correct but the plan, price and inclusive extras are the same as the my previous contract which is wrong as the price is more and my inclusive extra are different any support would be great

I hope you are enjoying your new iPhone.

The plan would normally update when the phone is on the way to you. If you text AL to 150 from the phone, does the text you get back show the old plan or the new one?
