Upgraded my phone from pay monthly to sim only and wondering how long it takes to activate. Payed to upgrade early and charge shows as pending transaction on my back account but I’ve not received any  confirmation email or message and my EE profile still shows my pay monthly plan. 
It’s been less than 24 hrs at the moment but I’m sure it was almost instant the last time I upgraded? Thanks

If you paid an early upgrade fee to upgrade to SIM Only, please give us a call and the team will have a look into this for you 🙂

Welcome to the community.

If you are moving from a pay monthly contract to a SIM Only plan, it would usually only take effect at the end of the contract.

Did you renew and pay online or was it over the phone with our upgrades team?

Hi, I sorted everything and paid online. Why pay £160+  to upgrade early if the new plan doesn’t start until January when my old one expires ?
