I have a sim only plan and was looking to upgrade. Can I cancel my sim only plan anytime or do I need to wait until the plan ends?

@Kagsey yes you can cancel any time and you’ll be required to pay off the remaining fee of that contract.

But if you can upgrade you’ll not need to cancel the sim only as your upgrading.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

By giving 30days cancellation notice you will lose your number - by upgrading back to a phone-plan, or changing your priceplan to another SIM-only, you will retain your number.

Upgrading and cancelling are thus mutually opposing options.

You may upgrade, not cancel, any time from 45 days before end of term.

@XRaySpeX   That’s not quite right.   It’s a sim only and you can upgrade after a set period of time to a full device contract this is usually way soon than the last 45 days of a sim only contract.

OP never asked for a full device; just upgrade a SIM-Only.
