I have upgraded my phone but on my ee app it still says it hasn’t changed my number over to my new one and my data isn’t working at all, when I’m not on my Wi-Fi I have no signal, do I need to wait for my old contract to end before this one will start to work?

Have you transferred your old SIM to your new phone?
You only need to activate the new one if your old SIM doesn't fit your new phone.
