Unable to find PAC and STAC codes for my account - customer service N/S

I'm coming to the end of my contract for broadband, mobile and landline. The suggested renewal is too expensive, so I called customer service to get my PAC and STAC codes and to ask them exactly what pieces of kit they believe they own and want returned. Waited interminably on the phone, and when I got through no-one spoke, and then they hung up. Unable to find any way to get these codes through my account online or on the app. How do I get the info I need, and get away from EE?

Thanks for coming to the community and sharing how you got the PAC and STAC that you needed.

The text to get the PAC or STAC is free of charge and you can find full information in our What you need to know if you want to leave EE, help page.

For anyone else struggling with this, another forum user gave a really helpful tip. Text PAC to 65075 and STAC to 75075 from your mobile. Your phone will warn you there is a charge for sending those texts, but I think they are actually free.

There really isn't such a thing as "renewal" in mobile terms though. You have a minimum-term contract that will continue regardless.

If you want to re-contract onto a different plan, that's an option. As is retaining your number (using a PAC) or ditching your number (using a STAC)

Your post doesn't give the impression of understanding the difference, so be careful there. People have previously used STAC and learned the hard way when their number was terminated.
