Unable to downgrade from contract to sim only

So basically I google 

'switch from contract from ee to sim only'

I scroll down and find this Screenshot 2022-09-22 16.49.06.png

 

So I click the link and there is no option to downgrade, Somebody please help!! as I don't have the financial income to pay for a contract & it will ruin my clean credit history

@NathanTadesse  Are you within your upgrade period?  if not you can not lower your current contract. 
An upgrade doesn’t mean a more costly tariff it’s a change of tariff. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

If you are 45 days before the minimum term ends, and you are unable to do this, I would suggest ringing customer service and they should be able to sort this out for you, and you may find that they can offer a better deal.
