Unable to cancel my contract - don't know mobile number

Just discovered that a mobile that my son used some years ago still has an active account for which I am paying monthly even though I thought it had been cancelled and it has not been used in years.

I do not know the number, nor my account number and I cannot therefore get any response from anyone at EE. Doesn't stop them taking a monthly payment of course!

I cannot just cancel the DD as it will impact my credit rating.

How do I end this waste of money?

CS still ought to be able to ID it & deal with it. Try calling CS on +44 800 956 6000 (option 2 > option 4) . That won't ask for an EE mobile no.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Hi @SD60

I would definitely recommend following @XRaySpeX's advice and speak to our Mobile Care team. They can search our systems for the account and find out what's happened.

Let us know how you get on.

Chris

How do I get to speak to them? The automated service throws me out when I cannot enter a phone number- same as the online message service
