Two year contract at an end. Why am I still paying for the phone.

Why am I still being charged the full amount as my contract has ended.

Yes, me too. Has anyone answered this? We are very unhappy and will no longer use EE in the future.

@Koku   Because you’re tariff and phone were built as one not as two separate entities so when your minimum term is up, you upgrade to a Sim only or you can take out one of the newer flex tariffs where you are then build separately for airtime and the device so once the device is paid off. You only left with the Airtime tariff.      

I assume you didn’t read the contract or understand it but still agreed to it.

It is disgusting, they are the industry experts, not us..how difficult is it to drop the cost of the phone once it is paid off?   it is certainly more ethical, once i figure out how to keep my number, im out of here

@Steve3838 That’s because you not on flex pay tariff.   Where this is exactly what would happen.  The old style contracts are billed as one tariff and airtime.    This is explained in the T&Cs of that contract should you have read it.
