Transfer of Ownership with the Existing Plan

Hello,

Is it possible to transfer the number from myself to a family member (my child) with the existing plan (out of contract)?
Or new contract has to always be taken once ownership has been transferred?

Will F&F discount transfer too or I would new code after the transfer?

Kind regards,

Slawek

Hi @SlawekP

You'll both need to speak to EE CS on 150. Your child will need to pass a credit check ( they have to be over 18).

I think you may need an additional F&F code if you want this account discounted I believe.

Thanks

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

The current owner of the contract, you, wishing to be moved needs to call CS with both of you available on the line to effect a change of ownership. The other person will need to pass a credit check. They will then be responsible for paying for that contract. If you can't do it together CS will give the current owner a password for the other to quote when they call.

FF code is per number not per account. What about the transfer of the existing plan. That is key question for me.
The link does not answer either.  Yes I know we both have to call EE CS and they need to the credit check.

Kind regards

Thank you. Useful info, which I know already, but does not answer my specific questions

No new contract need be taken. It is a transfer of an existing contract & no. between individuals.

Hi @SlawekP

As @XRaySpeX mentioned, no new contract needs to be taken, and the existing plan will be moved over.

If there is currently a Friends & Family discount in place, this would be removed when transferred, and you'd only be able to add it again by using a new code if the new account holder renews on an eligible plan.

If it is a Flex Pay plan, you would need to pay off the remaining loan balance before the number can be transferred.
