My previous contract ended and i did not want a new phone, so i went to SIM only thinking i could cancel this at any point but without realising it was a 24 month contract.
This was not properly explained at the time or did I realise i was signing up to a new contract and such bad terms otherwise i would of not have gone through with this. I can not find a copy of a contract i signed anywhere because i did not sign for this contract. EE prices are significantly more expensive than anywhere else and the service is diabolical.
You struggle to get signal in most places and when you do the 4G is so slow, its near impossible to get through to customer services over phone or chat without waiting hours.
I have been with EE for 10 years and i am really unhappy with how much the service and network have declined and to top if off they increase the prices every year even when your in contract at above inflation levels.
I would like a copy of the contract i have signed and the terms of it, as i do not believe this was properly explained at the time.

@jsp2006444 A sim only is still a contract that has a minimum term period. The contract that you agreed to would have required you to read it at the point of sale and in there it states T&Cs of the yearly price increase. Where did you take out this sim only contract? Was it over the phone, online or at a store ?

Can’t you get a SIM card without a contract? 🤔 this was over the phone. No way I would of agreed to be tied into 24 months on such a poor deal without this being explained at the time.
also the service is terrible you are paying for something you can’t use half of the time.

Yes, it's called Pay As You Go. PAYG SIMs can be got from PAY AS YOU GO SIM ONLY

All online & distance-sales in the UK come with 14days statutory "change of mind" right of return.
Service issues should be reported, to allow them to be investigated. If you're struggling to get coverage "in most places", I would suspect your phone has a fault.

Could you please provide me a full copy of this contract with my signature attached? Well I have this issue since I have had the phone and you want to know who provided me with the phone? YOU DID 👍 which I doubt is the phone because I know loads of people who had the same issue with EE. I try and use Wi-Fi when ever I can because the signal is so bad.
This is not what I apparently signed up for 🙄

I did nothing of the sort - I'm just a user like yourself. I was merely pointing out the difference between instore sales (which come with no statutory right of return) and distance sales (which do).
Contracts also need not be physical & written to be legally binding. The simplest solution here would be to use the 14days "change of mind" right of return to cancel your new contract and revert to whatever you were on before - this then allows you to make an educated & informed choice of what to do.
