Hi
Just switched from sky to EE for both TV and broadband. The doorstep sales man told me if I switch then they would clear my sky account for both and I didn't need to do anything. I then left it and it went 5 days over cooling off period to then receive a bill off sky. So ee lied and said when I called about it that they only pay up to £300 only for broadband and nothing for TV contract, which means been stuck with two contracts . When asking to leave told me I would have to pay another £635 to leave, and said that sales person conversation there was no proof he said that. I didn't know I had to record the conversation. As far as I'm concerned it's breach of contract. I only wanted to save 20£. Why would I want to pay £635, I went with EE to save money and wish I hadn't. I will never speak to a door salesman again and have warned my area about EE . So now I am stuck with EE . I feel like I have been trapped and given false information, obviously trapping people into contracts then once they have you that's it. Should of stayed with sky. Had to express my thoughts on here, as so stressed with this and when I spoke too EE they was just arguing a toss saying I have to pay I have to pay.

Hello @Matts494 ,
Welcome to the community,
It looks like your problem is with Sky, this has nothing to do with EE and I would suggest speaking to them about the bill you have received.
Not sure why you did it through a door sales person, as you could have done it by ringing customer service. Unfortunately we have no account access here, and do not know who you are, it does seem that you were mid contract and had to pay exit fee, that is how I see it, but I would definitely speak to Sky, as they have sent a bill and not EE, if that does not resolve it, speak to EE and see what they say.
Ee
