Hello,

If I buy a new Unlimited Data 1 month SIM only plan, will this activate immediately, or will it activate once my current 1 month plan has ran out? I.e. based on the billing period

Is this on contract or PAYG? If contract, is this an upgrade or a new line?

It's a one month SIM only contract plan, I have EE broadband so I get the
promotional price 😊

So, is it an upgrade or a new line?

Sorry I dont understand what you're saying, it's a new sim only contract
which has more perks and is more costly, so I'm not sure if that means an
upgrade or a new line?

Well, if you didn't do an Upgrade you'll have 2 SIMO contracts, with 2 nos., running alongside each other independently but on the same bill.

I think what you want to do is to order the new SIMO plan as an Upgrade on or after the existing SIMO contract expires. That way you keep your no. & your existing SIM. Just the plan on it changes.

Sorry I'm really confused, I think you're misunderstanding me.

I currently have one SIM only contract, I want to change it to another one
so it includes roaming. All I'm asking is if I upgrade now, will the
upgrade start once the old SIM only contract ends as it is only for 1
month.

Ah, this is the 1st time you've mentioned the word "upgrade"; it's been "buy" & "new" all the time. It was I who introduced "upgrade".

Anyway, yes, you do want to upgrade but only on or after the current plan's 30-day term is up or you'll be hit for paying for both at once.
