Sim only after handset contract

Hi,

My current phone plan with ee has come to an end. I am waiting for the s25 to be announced and released. I want to go to a sim only until this announcement happens but I only see upgrades to a 24 month contract.

After some searching, I think I can upgrade to a handset after 6 months, but if the release comes out before then, will I not be able to switch back to a handset plan until this 6 month period is up?

If you move to a SIM-only plan from a phone-plan, you can move back to a phone-plan at any time. The 6month lockout you refer to, applies to new customers who join EE on a SIM-only plan.
