@Klam6086 , you are welcome to buy a phone from anywhere, he will just need to put his existing SIM card in the new phone, contract will stay the same unless he upgrades.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Hi,

Reading between the lines, are you saying EE do not sell sim free phones?

Thanks

@NW_Saint : Depends what you mean by "SIM-Free"? Historically it meant unlocked phones not dedicated to a particular network. Nowadays all phones are sold unlocked.

EE sells all phones with a SIM, but if you choose an upgrade the SIM, if supplied at all, will be on your existing no.

Thanks and appreciate your response.

To clarify, “sim free” meaning I don’t need to buy an airtime plan, I can walk in, buy the phone outright and leave the store.

Thanks again 👍

@NW_Saint : No, that's not EE's business at all. Even PAYG phones, which can be bought outright, come with a SIM & a PAYG plan. However you can still just walk away with them & put another network's SIM & plan in them. But you'd be better off buying from Amazon, et al.
