Hi
This may be a long post.
In may this year I was supposed to have sent 411 international texts messages all over the word. Plus in 3 days. Ee are been a pain. I did pay over£ 100 too. Im June.
What i dont get is how am I supposed to have done it. The 1st 17 texts were sent about 10am one morning in 1i minute. How ???. I donr know how to group send message. I am 66 in 2 days. Got lupus sle and fibromyalgia. My hands are very arthritic too. So please cam someone tell me how I did it. Let alone send 411 texts all over the world I i.n 3 days.
Ee right from.the start havnt contacted me until sat morning. I have had to online chat or call them myself.
Aution fraud say its a scam.i have a case number for them. Trading standards say its suspicious too. So thry are contacting ee
Offcom I have contacted too.
Its been to the communications. Onbudsman too. Who partly agreed with me . But no ee won't have it. I have been. A loal customer over 14 years too. Dont think so In July when my contracts up.
So if any tech person from.ee can tell me how I did it I would appreciate it. I do not do group texts. I dont use texts messaging. Its either watsapp of fb messenger. I cant type well too
Ee want paying but say my accpunts restricted so cant pay. I know a letter will comr saying I have to yet again I may add. So what do I do. I am sick of this. Plus I am surprised ee would do this to a loyal customer. They are not thinking stright. They are not beem reasonable.
If I have to I will go to the onbudsmsn again and watch dog or rip off Britain.
If anyone else reading this doesn't get it feel free to ask me in a reply

@Ulllass59 you can launch a complaint here;
https://ee.co.uk/help/contact-ee/complaint
Sorry that you are having these difficulties, but if you can prove that you have not sent them, it would prove that it was a scam, although not sure how anyone would do this from your number without having your phone number etc.

Without passing comment on any other aspect, you can type a message longer than 160 characters which is then broken down into chunks of 160 characters (one SMS) for sending through the network separately, and then reconstructed by the recipient phone. I believe the limit is 13 combined messages, most of which I suspect would still send in under a minute.
Billing records should be able to identify the phone & SIM that was used to generate these charges, EE's formal complaints process is the way to go here. That provides for referral to external arbitration if the issue is either unresolved after 8 weeks or deadlocked before.

I am not technically minded. I hCe no idea what u just keantion. I know no one abriD and would have had to type 17 numbers in severely. Why eould I do it. Scanners did it
I have complained and complained. Dead letter was revived snd been to the onbudmzn ee wont havevit. Trading standards agree with me and skpuld be contacting ee. When can u pay AGAIN THEN. Ee want PAying but says my accounts restricted. We r as confused as I am. I am 66 disabled oap. I know nothing about sending texts like I was supposed to have sent. What was in the messages ee wont say. What reason would I have to do this to 411 countries world wide. I am not giving up. We should let me pay asap. I know kne thing uf I can end the contract I will and go.
Right now I am fed up of it..LACK of communication too from ee. As a customer k shouldn't be chasing them up. Ibwill pay but its mot the end of it. Its the principle now.

It seems a highly unusual position to take, that you're prepared to pay for something that you don't agree with, and yet claim that your complaint is the principle. If you've referred your complaint to the Ombudsman, then the decision on whether the charges are valid or not rests with them - not EE.
Trading Standards have no jurisdiction over your individual complaint. It's also entirely normal that EE won't make any further comment on complaints that have been referred to ADR - this is standard practice across all regulated companies.

We will have to see. Its unusual yes but if I do t pay I can't use my phone at all. I sm a ling tone customer of ees for 15 years soon. Action fraud say its a new scam its fraud. If they say it is it is. I am am between. The devil and yhe deep blue sea. I know one thing I am not letting g it drop. I can't now. If it comes out that it is what I say it it and other organisations do tjen k get my money back. One thing is for sure I am not staying with ee
