S25 galaxy paring to vw 2011 vw touran.

Hello.

Does anyone have any dinky ideas about how to pair the s25 galaxy to a 2011 vw touran?

It may be that I have to buy a cable to connect? Tried everything to do it by blue tooth. Can't do it.

My good old trusty Motorola did it no bother.

Come on Samsung! This is meant to be an upgrade, better phone, super dooper.

It might have to go back...

  • Any help much appreciated. I'm a Taxi driver and need hands free. And a bit of music through the car speakers would be nice...

Hi @Austin1004524

Welcome to the community.

The phone should be compatible with your car. Here are some steps to try:

1. Make sure Bluetooth is switched on within the phone settings of your phone (settings > Connections > Bluetooth)

2. Start the pairing from the car (Press the 'Phone' button on the infotainment system or steering wheel)

3. Find the car on your phone under Bluetooth devices in the settings.

4. Confirm the pairing code. Make sure it matches on both the car and the phone.

If it still doesn't show your phone. Make sure the car is in 'pairing mode'. Turn the ignition on and hold the 'Phone' button for a few seconds.

Let me know how you get on.
