Rolling monthly contract

What happened to monthly SIMs? My contract came to an end in November, I am currently paying the same as before. The EE website only offers new 2 year contracts (which I don't want because EE do not reward loyalty so I may want to move providers at some point). I discussed this with customer service and we agreed a new payment but they haven't changed anything.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

I wasn't shown those when I went to upgrade. Besides, they all have throttled speeds and I'm not going to allow myself to be ripped off.

What do you use your phone for, that (presumably) >100Mbps is regularly required?

The choice of plans you see on the longer minimum terms at lower prices I would argue is evidence that EE do reward loyalty - you get a better deal if you commit to them!
