I payed for a roaming plan on the 12th June expecting to get one months roaming for £10.my bill date is 23rd of the month and I’ve been charged £4.52 and £10 for roaming. Do I assume correctly that if I end the service before my next bill date I will get a refund of some sort.

When you added the £10/month roaming pass, charges were added to your next monthly bill on a pro-rata basis. To illustrate the point, let's presume your bill run is the 15th of the month, and you added a £10/month bundle on the 10th, with a view to cancelling it on the 20th.

Month 1: Pro-rata charges in arrears covering 10th > 15th, and a full month in advance covering 15th > 14th of following month

Month 2: Pro-rata refund covering cancellation on 20th until the period you paid for previously - the 14th.

This is standard procedure anytime you make any changes to add-ons partway through your billing cycle.
