Roam Abroad Pass on 12 Month Sim Only

Hi all,

I am looking at swopping over to Sim Only as my contract is coming to the end next month, I have been looking at moving over to a 12 month Sim only Essential Max plan, I just waiting to know if you can add Roam Abroad Pass to it and just pay for it whilst I'm away, as I don't really want to have any inclusive add-ons which I'm not using for 11 months of the year, seems like a waste of money, but the EE terms aren't very clear on it, does anyone know?

Welcome to the community. 🙂

Once you’ve chosen, you can change your Inclusive Extra thereafter every 30 days. So you can add the Roam Abroad Pass before you go abroad.

I've just spoken to EE and they just confirmed the Roam abroad add-on can be added to essentials plan for £15 for 30 days so that will work out better
