Hi- I recently upgraded (early) to a Samsung 22 Ultra (paid early upgrade fee and significant upfront cost) - unfortunately I could not work with the phone (previous iphone user) so I activated 14 day returns policy. Phone is now with EE and awaiting reactivation of the original contract so I can upgrade again - how long does this take?
Also due to fact that I upgraded, I sold my old phone and I have now had to purchase a new phone outright on SIM only as EE would not allow me to take out another upgrade until the returns process has been completed! Anyone else find this a problem?

Hi @JHGemmell
Welcome to the community.
The return should be processed within a couple of days of us receiving it. I'm not sure what you mean that you bought a phone outright on SIM only, could you explain a bit more please?
Did you buy a new phone outright then buy a SIM only plan with a new number to use with it?
Thanks
Chris

I actually went and bought a new iPhone and have put the original SIM in it to give me a phone until returns are processed - disappointed in EE if honest.
Thanks

Sorry to hear that, @JHGemmell.
Once the return has been processed, our Mobile Care team will be able to run through some options with your plan going forward.

Chris
I actually had to buy a new phone so that I had a phone to use - put in my current sim card as until phones are returned there is no new upgrade until everything returned but I had to do without a phone during this process - this is why I am upset with EE - out of pocket for upgrade and now for a phone I needed to buy.
thanks

I'd recommend calling them on 150 to discuss this, @JHGemmell.
