Request to Remove My Bank Details and Stop Charges

I am writing regarding a mobile account that is currently being paid from my bank account.

The account is not mine and belongs to my former partner. We have been separated for over three years, and I no longer give permission for any payments to be taken from my account.

Please take the following actions immediately:

 

  • Remove my bank details from this account
  • Stop any future charges or Direct Debit payments from my account
  • Confirm that I am no longer financially responsible for this account
  • If needed, I can provide proof of identity or further details to support this request.
  • I would appreciate your urgent assistance in resolving this matter.

This user discussion forum would have no knowledge of this specific account & so can't confirm anything about it.

However, if as you say, it belongs to somebody else then at no time were you ever responsible for it. That other person was the A/c Holder & responsible for making payments even tho' you allowed at that time for your bank a/c to be used for that purpose. You may now tell your bank to stop that DD with impunity & your ex- partner will be liable for sorting it out when EE discover they are not being paid.
