My daughter wants to have the phone contract transferred to her and her phone is part of our multi-line deal. How do a remove one phone and how does she then set up a ontract?

You need to follow the "change of ownership" process which is explained under "transfer to a friend, colleague or family member" on the following page.

Be aware that by splitting the billing accounts, you will lose the ability for your daughter to share data to or from the remaining phones on your account.
