Which section of the police do I call to retrieve records of incoming calls from a few years back. Do they also have an email or telephone number?

Thank you 🙏

Hi @Bronowski,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

The police would contact our liaison department directly if they required records as part of an investigation.

It's not something you could initiate yourself.

My records are needed for a court case. The police seem clueless on what to do when I call them on 101 ??? They are saying contact EE.. EE are saying they can only go back 12 months..but they have put in a request to see if they can go back further. This could take up to 30 days with NO GUARANTEES.

All Police forces have well established processes for obtaining telecoms call records if required.

Is yours a civil or criminal case? If civil, your solicitor should know the process.

It's a civil case..and i don't currently have a solicitor.

You will need to follow the Subject Access Request process for any personal requests.

If you have an existing request open, you should pursue that.

Incoming call records are not available without a court order or witness summons.

OK thanks. So the records of Incoming calls ARE Recorded by EE? I need records from December 2019.
